The Runaways was a theater production about runaways in New York creating their own spaces within the city. The choreography in the drug trip scene required dancers to dance with thirty feet of fabric. The fabric was made by deconstructing grocery bags tied together. Madison used found objects for set design; the only item that was purchased for production was tape.
